S2 E16 - Hot Buttered Rum + Simplifying Your Life

Ingredients
BATTER
- 1 pound unsalted butter 
- 1 pound brown sugar 
- 1 pound confectioners' sugar 
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened 
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
COCKTAIL
- 1 tbsp of batter 
- 2oz dark rum or NA substitute 
- boiling water 
- ground cinnamon and/or nutmeg 
Recipe
BATTER
- Melt butter in large pot over low heat 
- Stir in sugars until smooth 
- Remove from heat and add ice cream, cinnamon and nutmeg 
- Stir until combined and store in freezer 
COCKTAIL
- Add batter and rum to a mug 
- Top off with hot water 
- Stir until combined 
- Garnish with freshly ground cinnamon and/or nutmeg
